The Routes

Four Routes. One Valley.

Each route is named after a grape variety — a language both disciplines share.

Cabernet Sauvignon

50K+

“The structure that holds everything together”

The Cabernet Sauvignon route is built for those who understand that the greatest experiences are not defined by their beginning, but by everything they are capable of sustaining until the end. Like the variety itself — known for its structure, its depth, and its ability to evolve over time — this is a distance that demands more than physical endurance. It demands strategy, presence, and the willingness to be transformed by the terrain. Every kilometer adds complexity. Every climb reveals character. This is not just the longest route at Trail & Wine. It is its backbone.

Cabernet Sauvignon route

Nebbiolo

23K+

“The resilience that adapts”

The Nebbiolo route is for those who know how to listen to the trail. Named after a variety celebrated for its ability to adapt — to different soils, different climates, different conditions — this distance rewards intelligence over force. It challenges, but it also flows. It demands effort, but offers rhythm in return. Here, the runner does not impose a pace. They build one, kilometer by kilometer, in conversation with the landscape. Like Nebbiolo itself, the real strength of this route lies not in resistance alone, but in the capacity to adjust, read the moment, and keep moving forward.

Nebbiolo route

Tempranillo

12K+

“The impulse that starts everything”

Named after one of the world's most direct and expressive grape varieties, the Tempranillo route is the entry point into the Trail & Wine experience. No waiting required — this distance presents itself with clarity, energy, and a pace that invites rather than intimidates. The focus here is not endurance, but discovery: the first contact with the terrain, the landscape, and the spirit of the event. Light in distance, full in experience. Because every great journey begins with a first impulse — and in that beginning, a story is already being told.

Tempranillo route

Chardonnay

The vineyard walk

“The expression that transforms the landscape”

The Chardonnay route is not a race. It is a guided vineyard walk designed to experience Valle de Guadalupe at a slower pace. Each station takes place at a different vineyard, where every winery is in charge of its own tour experience. Participants walk through vineyards, enjoy water and tapas at every stop, and finish the journey at the awards area.
